Welcome to Konetos. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Konetos platform, including all services, features, and content provided by Konetos.

By registering, accessing, or using Konetos, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Part 1-3: Definitions, Eligibility & Account Registration

1 Definitions

Konetos

The platform connecting clients with verified artisans and service providers.

User

Any individual or entity using the platform, including clients and artisans.

Artisan

Service providers offering skilled work through Konetos.

Client

Any user seeking services via Konetos.

2 Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering legally binding agreements. By using Konetos, you represent that all information provided is accurate and complete.

3 Account Registration

Users must create an account to access services.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
Konetos reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false or misleading information.

Part 4-6: Services, Verification & User Obligations

4 Services Provided

Konetos acts as an intermediary platform that connects clients with artisans. Konetos does not directly provide the services but ensures:

Verification of artisans
Monitoring of projects
Quality assurance through on-site inspections where applicable

5 Artisan Verification

All artisans must undergo a verification process before being approved on the platform. Konetos reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove any artisan at its sole discretion.

6 User Obligations

Users agree to:

Provide accurate information in all platform interactions and profile details.

Communicate respectfully with other users and platform representatives.

Use the platform only for lawful purposes in accordance with applicable regulations.

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing your activities.

Part 7-9: Payments, Anti-Circumvention & Tool Financing

7 Payments and Fees

All payments must be made through the Konetos platform unless otherwise authorized.
Konetos may charge service fees or commissions on transactions.
Payments made outside the platform are at the User's own risk and may violate these Terms.

8 Anti-Circumvention

Strictly Prohibited

Users are strictly prohibited from bypassing the platform to transact directly. Any violation will attract penalties, including commission recovery, account termination, and legal action as detailed in the Anti-Circumvention Clause.

9 Tool Financing Program

Konetos may provide financial assistance or tools to qualified artisans:

Eligibility is based on performance, consistency, and verification
Not all artisans qualify
Beneficiaries must repay according to agreed terms
Failure to repay may result in suspension, recovery actions, or legal enforcement

Part 10-14: Monitoring, Liability, Conduct & Intellectual Property

10 Project Monitoring

Konetos may deploy staff or representatives to monitor projects and ensure work is completed according to agreed standards.

11 Limitation of Liability

Konetos shall not be liable for:

The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by artisans
Losses arising from user interactions outside the platform
Delays, damages, or disputes between users

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Konetos disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

12 User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

Users shall not:

Engage in fraud, abuse, or illegal activities on or through the platform.

Misrepresent services or qualifications to clients or the platform.

Harass, threaten, or exploit other users in any manner.

Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the platform or its infrastructure.

13 Termination

Konetos reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason deemed necessary to protect the platform.

14 Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology on Konetos remain the property of Konetos. Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute without permission.

Part 15-20: Privacy, Governing Law, Disputes & Acceptance

15 Privacy

User data is handled in accordance with Konetos' Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to data collection and usage as described.

16 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by:

The laws of Nigeria for users operating within Nigeria

17 Dispute Resolution

Negotiation

Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes within 14 days

Arbitration

Unresolved disputes referred to arbitration under applicable laws

Final Decision

All arbitration decisions shall be final and binding

Nigeria: Lagos under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act

18 Amendments

Konetos reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
