Commission & Fees

Commission Policy

This Commission Policy outlines the fees, charges, and commission structure applicable to all transactions conducted on the Konetos platform. By using Konetos, all Users agree to comply with this policy.

Part 1-2: Purpose & Commission Structure

1 Purpose

The Konetos commission model supports platform operations, including artisan verification, project monitoring, customer support, and quality assurance services.

2 Commission Structure

  • Konetos charges a commission on every successful transaction between Clients and Artisans facilitated through the platform.
  • The standard commission rate ranges between 5% and 10% of the total project value, depending on:
    • Type of service
    • Project size and complexity
    • Location and logistics
  • The applicable commission rate will be clearly displayed or communicated before payment is made.

3 Payment Processing

Platform Payment

All payments must be processed through Konetos

Auto Deduction

Commission fees deducted at point of payment or settlement

No Bypassing

Users agree not to bypass the platform to avoid fees

4 Client Charges

  • Clients may be charged service fees in addition to the project cost.
  • These fees cover platform usage, support, and monitoring services.
  • All charges will be transparently communicated before confirmation of any transaction.

5 Artisan Earnings

Artisans receive payment after deduction of applicable commission and fees. Payments may be released based on:

Project Completion

Full payment released upon verified project completion.

Milestone Agreements

Payments divided and released per agreed milestones.

Client Confirmation

Funds released after client confirms satisfaction.

Payment Delays

Konetos reserves the right to delay payments during disputes or suspected violations.

Part 6-11: Refunds, Enforcement & Legal

6 Refunds and Adjustments

In the event of a refund, the commission may be:

  • Partially refunded, or
  • Retained to cover administrative and service costs

Adjustments may be made where project value changes or disputes arise.

7 Off-Platform Transactions

Strictly Prohibited

Any transaction conducted outside Konetos after introduction on the platform is a violation of policy. Such actions may result in severe consequences.

Up to 30% Recovery Charge Account Suspension Legal Action

8 Tool Financing Deductions

For artisans enrolled in the Konetos Tool Financing Program:

Automatic Repayment Deductions
  • Agreed repayment amounts may be deducted from earnings
  • Deductions will be clearly communicated and documented
  • Failure to meet repayment obligations may result in penalties or account restrictions

9 Dispute-Related Holds

  • Konetos reserves the right to temporarily hold funds during disputes.
  • Funds will only be released after resolution based on platform findings.

10 Changes to Commission Rates

Konetos may update commission rates at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes before they take effect.

By using the Konetos platform, all Users acknowledge and agree to this Commission Policy and all applicable fees.
